*Ahem* Now I've basically gone though pages and pages of bug reports to where they are all starting to blend together. I think I may have made my test team a little bigger than I can keep up with :D
I managed to give a quick once over to everything in my gmail and FA notes box, and some of my Futanari Palace PM's. Most of the fixes got in the new build I just sent out.
Fixes:
-Combat looping should now be fixed for minotaurs.
-A lot of typos, grammar errors, and 'equine' sometimes not having the 'e' at the end.
-A bug was preventing players from taking new items when their inventory was full (fixed).
-Masturbation bug that was causing masturbation not to work.
-Titfucking bug that would cause the game to think players were capable of titfucking even with tiny manboobs.
-Anal virginities should now be taken by minotaurs and imps.
-Many, many, more.

ReplyDeleteHey you should sign up for a bug ticket tracker (like lighthouseapp.com, it's free-ish) so people can just look at the open list of bugs and add their comments if they've run into something some one else has. Removes repeats, saves you time, clears out your inbox and gives you a nice organized todo list.

ReplyDeleteI don't see many people begging for the release here, just anticipation. This leaves me to conclude one (or all) of two things:
ReplyDelete-People are emailing you asking when the release is.
-People are PMing your FA account asking when the release is.
If Katawa Shoujo has taught me anything, it's that devs get very annoyed when people do this. That, and emailing Fenoxo about pointless shit is just stupid. Some things are sacred, like fap material.

You really have no idea when you'll finish a low-priority task (leaving room for the rest of life). So, there's never been a point in asking Fenoxo when he'll be done because he doesn't know.
ReplyDeleteLet him enjoy the thing he's building and the crowd. It's one of the few benefits of building something free.
I still think the WIP releases and avoiding bad comments is an overblown concern, but see above paragraph.
The only way to win the anticipation game is to not play. He'll finish eventually. I'll look at it. It will be fun. The End.
And, why is bitpeg angsting over something he isn't even sure is happening? You think something besides life must be slowing Fenoxo down, so it's all our fault?
Maybe his scope is larger than I would have tackled, but he seems to be making excellent progress.
@Stephen: I honestly have to agree, for a side-project he's doing for fun/fapping, he's making excellent project considering he probably has a job and family.
ReplyDeleteBut yeah, if I seem annoying and needy, it's because I'm eager for the next version to come out. I've little to do with my day, and waiting for updates to things I enjoy is how I spend most of my time, since I can't find a job in my area.
