Zug zug! More Work?

Bit o' spoiler below:

Got a little bit of writing done last night - All the Omnibus' (Cumcubus?  The jury is still out on the name) rape scenes are done.  There are three, all involve some variant on the tentacle-panty idea and heavy mind-control.  Each one is a bad-end.  I have not written when is to happen when you win, but I think I'll take the cheap way out and avoid writing a huge sex-scene.  Instead I'll probably have her grant you a boon if you defeat her - perhaps restoring part of your body to a more human state or increasing a stat.  There will be a hidden consequence that comes with it though.

Tonight I did a bit of coding and got all the Incubus Stuff coded in and wrapped up.  He can now rape or be raped.  When you defeat him you also have the option of giving him a blowjob, because why the hell not?

Remaining is:
+Dungeon Items
+4 Dungeon Rooms
+One set off additional miscelleneous dungeon sex scenes (already written)
+Omnibus(Cumcubus) encounter & rape scenes
+Lake Supplimentals

  2. I have a question. How long will it take to put the Centaur roleplay into the game now that its the official winner of the polls? *lol* I can't wait to try out Kelt.

And are you going to do another contest like this one again anytime soon?

  3. There is the option of 'foocubus', that the nethack community uses to talk about both succubi and inccubi.

Actually, the dialog for those nethack critters is pretty funny:

  4. Oh wow, Possible effect when you kick a sink:
'Once per sink, "The dishwasher returns!" The dishwasher is a foocubus of opposite sex to the hero, or of random sex if the hero is a neuter creature.'

  5. Cumcubus is definitely the way to go.

Omnibus should be some magical tome that summons random monstergirls to fuck or fight depending on their alignment.

  6. I personally prefer Omnibus as a name, Cumcubus sounds to male oriented to be something with bother sexes (this thing will be basically a futa incu/succubus right?).

    Futabus might also work.

  7. omni is an actual base word that means many or multiple, so it is much more apealling than Cumcubus, which sounds like a cube full of cum.

  8. I agree with the omnibus, sounds more logical of a name. Is it possible the bosses will impregnate the adventurers with their ow brand of demon spawn I wonder?

  10. So.... what's the point of doing anything other than combat with the omnibus if both raping and being raped have consequences?

I try really hard to maintain my preferred alterations and it sounds to me like the omnibus encounter is either going to end my game or make me pay for running across it in the first place.

  11. Dantirya:
I don't think you actually have to accept the omnibus' offer. There is a good chance the player will realize that there is a danger involved in accepting a boon from a demon.

  12. Dantirya - If I go the offer route you won't have to accept, nor is it a cosmetic change.

  13. I don't know where to write this, so I'll use the comment section...

I believe I've found a bug - Rathazul will only sel hair dyes if the character holds at least one item such as Succubi Milk od Incubus Draft

  14. It should be omnicubus (or bothcubus), if you think it logically both sucubus and incubus end with 'cubus', not just 'bus', so it makes sense that this one should end with 'cubus' as well.
btw. omnibus makes me think of public transportation.

  15. @Samu: while that indeed makes since it seems like it would be a lot harder to find a base for the prefix cubus that doesn't sound like a mouth full. omnicubus and bothcubus are prime examples, they don't exactly roll of the tongue like omnibus does.

Well that's my opinion at least. If we can find something that sound good with cubus I wouldn't mind.

  16. @Samu You're correct. In the FP Thread there was quite a bit of discussion with me and a couple other people on what a proper form of Latin for this would be, and someone came up Omnicubus as the proper way to form that word, and that could be interpreted (IE, not literally translated) as "To Lay (with) All".

Personally, I'm fond of Omnicubus, especially since its halfway proper latin, but its Fenoxo's game, and its not like I'm going to not play because his names are proper.

  18. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Succubus

"The word is derived from Late Latin succuba "strumpet" (from succubare "to lie under", from sub- "under" and cubare "to lie"), used to describe the supernatural being as well. It is first attested from 1387.[1]"

The french description of the word is a lot better than the english one. More details, more informations...

Anyway... "omnibus" is not meaning anything, not "speaking", and omnicubus neither.
The succubus AND the incubus are supposed to be the same demons. They just switch between their gender depending of their next prey. So, you won't able to justify such a creation by logic.
If you really want to find a name for a demon who would have the both gender, I agree with somebody before... Try to play with the word hermaphrodite... AND NOT FUTA NOR TRANS ! I REMIND YOU THE TRANS/FUTA ARE WOMEN WHO WERE BORN MALE ! *is angry because too much people are confusing the both*

I AM a transexual. Since I didn't "cut this part", I'm still a "shemale" / "futa", even if in japan, the futas are more a fantasm than a reality. But I'm NOT a herm ! They were born with the both genders. And usually, they are not fertile.

Thank you to respect some things, even on a game, even on a blog, even during a discussion.
    *bows*

  21. Sorry, but I'd like to make it clear. Grammatically speaking, omnibus is pig latin for omne, i.e. everything, while omnicubus is an apophony for omne(cum)cubus, i.e. "the one who has sex with everything", and is more acceptable than the former.

By the way, it would be a mistake to create a name for that monster by blending two nouns (i.e. herm + cubus), as incubus and succubus (who are, by the way, two different creatures according to mythology, respectively "the one who stays on top" and "the one who stays at the bottom") are participles of two verbs, both composed by preposition+cubo: in order to respect Latin rules, "cubus" should be only preceded by a preposition (or an adverb).

Consequently, cumcubus, " the one you have sex with" [or transcubus/mediocubus (the one who have sex in between), ambicubus/utercubus (the one who as sex w/ both genders)] is grammatically correct, despite the allusion to semen.

    Sorry to be soooo picky.

  22. Luna, not to take the wind out of your sails, but Futa and trans are not the same, nor do all Futa begin as men. Futanari can also be hermaphrodites, and they can begin in either physical gender.

The Japanese term for a transwoman mid transition is, IIRC, new half.

  23. Off topic, but have you tried 'Whore Master'? Google 'Mucky Bits' (the author - he's on blogspot as well).

  24. Ya'll be straight up tripping, yo!

*coughs and turns his hat around correctly, then pulls up his pants.*

@Sibyllina Luna - Seriously way too much griping about naming conventions going on here. I don't think anyone would call it a 'Transubbus'. You're pretty confused if you don't think Futa means Herm. Futa is short for Futanari, and is synonymous with girls that have female & male parts.

Wikipedia lists it as "literally "dual form") is the Japanese word for androgyny or hermaphrodite."
The Japanese term for trans individuals is 'newhalf' isn't it?

Lastly, you mention real-world 'herms' which tend to be nowhere close to the fully functional hermaphrodites you see in my game world. Lets not bring real world biology into a fantasy world with five-foot penises. *Codes in death due to all your blood moving into your dong* More seriously, I will probably avoid the calling them 'herms' as that seems to be a term primarily used by furries, I much prefer to go with Futas.

@Tim - shit i wrote all that and you beat me to it.

@Everyone else - I'm not really too worried about real-world linguistics. I'm going to choose whichever name I feel works best to convey what kind of demon it is while having a similar 'sound' to that of the existing sex demons. I'm leaning towards Omnibus or Omniccubus. I'll probably stick with Omnibus. Pornarium's Futabus is pretty cool too but seems a bit over-obvious and doesn't sound quite right to me.

  25. I think the thing that weirds me out about omnibus is that it's an actual word already.
