ReplyDeleteOkay, taking the "Tank" perk gives you 50 HP, but the only thing that'll fill you up to full HP is Resting at night. Resting during the day only brings you up to what I'm guessing is what your HP would be without the Perk, then you can only Wait, which doesn't give you HP.

- Will we encounter sooner or later the monsters from which are coming the potions ? Wolf/werewolf, horse/centaur/unicorn, incubus (the succubus is planed if I understood). We already meet the minotaur and imp, so why not the others ?
- Will we have the choice of the masturbation ? I mean, if I prefer oral or anal games, why the toys are always prefering my poor vagina ? Let it to the births and fuck the other holes, stupid toys ! *coughs* Sorry...
- In the creation, there are still a lot of details which are not really interesting, like the big breast (allowing you to do deeper breastfucks but there are stil not even ONE ! *pouts because she would love to try that*). Will they really be usefull ? If so, if you add the titfuck, when will it occur ? I mean... There are already vaginal and some anal (still not enought to my mind. Monsters should have more choices with their actions), even some oral but... I don't see when we will be able to practice that.
- Why not to be able to create our own preferences ? Oral, anal, vaginal, "nipplesal" (oh, damn, this word doesn't exist. Oops). It could effect on the events with the encounters. Monsters could change their desires (especially if we seduce them). They could even have their own preferences. And who said preferences could say things we dislike too ! A man who hates anal fucks won't be able to enjoy that way. It would hurt him, maybe low some stats (sensivity, thoughness, libido (since a painfull ass is really not helping for being excited !), etc).
And atlast, I wish I could help ! I'm a french writer. Not professionnal but I love to write. I'm sad to be not able to translate in english well enough. I'm lacking of too many words, doing too many mystakes. :s

Proposal for future versions:
ReplyDeleteUse body types as a data structure for characters. A body type consists of certain body part nodes. Body parts consist of some or no body part subnodes. For instance, the body part Penis would consist of Penis(Glans, Shaft) and would attach as at the node of Genitals, Testes would be another body part that typically would accompany the Penis body part attaching to Genitals also.
Four body types:
Biped(Torso(Head, Limbs, Pelvis(pair of Legs, Genital, Tail)))
Quadruped(Torso(Head, pair of Fore-Legs, Pelvis(pair of Hind-Legs, Genital, Tail)))
Insectoid(Torso(Head, 1-2 pairs of Limbs, Pelvis(1-2 pairs of Limbs, Genital, Tail)))
Taur(Torso(Head, Limbs, Quadruped or Insectoid)
@Bob - sounds kind of like how flexible infection is set up. While it might work well and allow a bit more customizability, I think what I'm doing gets the job done more than effectively enough.
ReplyDeleteFen saving seems to be broken. When I go to save, it tells me it saved, but when I go to load it tells me NO FILE FOUND in any of the slots. I started noticing this error in the previous version as well, but I didn't say anything hoping it would get fixed in the next update.
ReplyDelete@llaughquietlytomyself - check your local storage settings? It's possible with the new stuff like perks and new item slots that it has maxxed out the amount of memory flash is allowed to save.

ReplyDeleteI only suggest the body types and body parts structure for future versions because it would help add combinatorial variability and modularity for transformations. I was also going to suggest a body, mind, spirit, genetics/reproduction magic setup.

I've checked all the earlier versions, they save fine. But 2a and 2b are both having problems saving. I didn't have any old characters to begin with, all the files are empty and I can't save to any slot. And of course I can't load anything if there's no way to save. I'm at a loss as well, I dunno what the problem is.
ReplyDeleteOkay, scratch that. Opening the .swf with my browser instead makes saving work again. Before I was just opening it with flash player alone and it was broken. Guess I'll just have to play in the browser from now on... :/ That doesn't make sense considering I didn't have to do this for all the other versions.

ReplyDelete@llaughquietlytomyself - I had the same problem and solved it the same way (playing on the browser). For me, it started in the first version which implemented the level up system. By any chance, are you using the flash standalone player on a mac?
ReplyDeleteI don't know how far Fenoxo is going to go with this, but I figure this is early enough in the development of the game that it wouldn't be impossible or extremely undesirable work-wise. The alternative is that Fenoxo doesn't make the change and the game becomes path dependent on the structures being used right now making future changes unduly difficult and reducing future expandability.
ReplyDeleteIt certainly would be a core change, but I recommended it because of what it does for maintenance and extensibility of the code.
I leave it ultimately up to Fennox and the community to make a decision one way or another.

bob -> any body part tracking makes future changes difficult and reduces expandability. if fenoxo was going to actually enforce thoroughness for body parts, he would need to go back through the minotaur, imp, jojo, bee girl, tentacles, and sand witch and write applicable oral/anal scenes, re-write existing scenes to recognize things post-coitus knotting for dog cocks, write additional scenes for cases where the cock is larger than the recipient (you can currently fuck a 3' imp with a 60" cock, which is bizarre), as well as updating any necessary text that refers to body parts changed by the recent bee mutation, including recognizing the player now has a large thorax behind them.

What I'd like to be able to do is visit more areas at this point.
ReplyDeleteThe other big thing is that I think the merchant needs to have more stuff, 8 items seems a little frustrating, as useful as the potions available are, but something to maybe reverse the effects of a transformation should be there, like drink it, and it gives you the option to eliminate a body part you don't like... I don't want a bee's thighs for example :P
And on that note more transformations - I want a dragon, I sincerely hope to get to turn in to a dragon morph, could give the option to use the claws as a natural weapon for damage, or give a breath weapon. And then the quote I saw on a lovely picture on e621, "Dragons, when horses just don't do it for you anymore..."

@Bob/UDG - a bit more about how players are set up - In theory I could build a player from generic 'body part' objects, and that would allow ultimate freedom - dicks/pussies everywhere, but it would also makes things horrendously complex and complicated. Right now cocks, pussies, breasts, asses, perks, statuses are all objects with their own special flags that I can always add to. I don't intend to get too bizarre with anything but I can do a LOT with those. Adding a new cock type in this code is a LOT easier than it was in unnamed text game, though it still takes some work.

ReplyDeleteOh and I seem to have found a bug now. It seems once you're an equine morph, the canine pepper will not do anything but change your cock, intelligence, and restore vitality. But I sat there for 20 minutes just using canine pepper and nothing else happened.
