If you are still reading this, happy April Fools!
When I saw the title I raged, but when I read the end and saw the date, I loled. Well played sir!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if there is a real town called Farmville in California....
ReplyDelete"Address: 4111 Fool Circle" if anyone pays attention until the end, its in the address.
ReplyDelete@Blaqkpheonix I decided I had to keep it somewhat obvious, the last thing I wanted was people bitching to Wizards about this :P
ReplyDeleteDude, you gave me a bloody scare, you did x.x Well played though ^^ I love reading these on my birthday (which is, ironically, today) :P
ReplyDeleteGOD DAMNIT, giving my weak heart a run for its money.
ReplyDeleteany way, nicely done Fen, nicely done.
@Fenoxo> you had me till the phone number "Telephone: 753-555-0190" there are no real numbers that start with 555, but you knew that already. ;P
ReplyDelete@Hikari Yamato> Happy Birthday! Coincidentally it's also my birthday today, guess there's two April fools running around here. Anyway do something fun on my behalf.
Yooooooooooooooooooooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!
ReplyDeleteYOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOU!
Goddamnit, now I have a heart condition.
That was awesome! XD Touche my man. Touche
you could have had extra point and made the phone number spell April fools which for measure would be 277-453-6657 which looks like a legit number too. using the number pad on the phone and not the 26 number code.
ReplyDeleteSo glad I knew what today was before reading this. This was a good one though. You had all the legal lingo and facts down pretty pat.
ReplyDeleteWell played sir, well played.
ReplyDeleteI got skeptic the moment I read "Wizzards of the Coast".
ReplyDeleteI would have fallen for it if it said "Adobe" instead, and if it talked about unautorized use of development software (aka. using a pirated version of adobe flash) instead of DMCA.
But then I would still be skeptical, since then instead of a notice, I would expect a police raid. :P
okay i will admit that this scared me as much as the first april fools with cheat engine in which the pop up declares "Your license to use Cheat Engine has expired. You can buy a license to use Cheat Engine for 1 month for $200, 6 months for only $1000 and for 1 year for only $1800. If you don't renew your license Cheat Engine will be severly limited in it's abilities. (e.g.: Next scan has been disabled)" when i first saw this about 4 years ago i cursed quite a bit and immediately uninstalled cheat engine and found a forum post where many others were pissed until someone said "...guys...calm down...look at your calendar...and now perform a facepalm" you ser are most defintely worthy of top april fool's prank *!*CONGRATULATIONS*!* :D
ReplyDeleteat least no one got killed over it. cause a dead corps from a prank like this would ruin the joke forever.
